Benefits: Seabuckthorn is one of the best sources of natural antioxidants due to it’s high Vitamin C content. Antioxidants such as vitamin E and betacarotene help to regenerate skin cells, effectively diminish wrinkles and combat dryness, as well as help other symptoms of dry, aged skin.

This oil can also be used in the healing of burns, eczema, radiation injury ulcers and small wounds or cuts. The healing effect of Seabuckthorn is due to the pro-vitamin A (betacarotene) that it contains.

In addition, the oil boasts a moderate absorption in the UV-B range which makes it a good oil to include in sun care cosmetics. It is a terrific choice as part of an aromatherapy blend, a massage blend, as well as in all types of manufacturing.
