Benefits, Indications: An effective decongestant and antispasmodic for the respiratory system. This essential oil is has also been known to be a detoxifier and kidney stimulator (adrenals) Because of its high monoterpene content; specifically, alpha pinene, beta pinene, and d- limonene, research suggests that Rhododendron is a good antibacterial, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and liver protector and supporter.

Rhododendron is a terrific choice when making bath salts, facial mists, clay masks, and other skin care blends due to its antioxidant benefits. It also helps support healthy lung function and is helpful when looking to reduce the presence of unwanted bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. Companion Oils: Lavender, davana, sweet orange, geranium, cedar, spruce, pine, fir oil, clary sage, ginger, neroli and petitgrain.

Precautions: Rhododendron oil is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing. Do not take rhododendron essential oil internally.
