Benefits: Because it absorbs quickly and slows down water loss, kukui nut is excellent in treating many skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, and aging skin. It’s essential fatty acid content makes it especially nourishing to the skin. Kukui nut is one of the lightest oils for facial skin. Kukui nut is used in Hawaii to protect the skin from saltwater, sun and wind. This oil is very helpful for dry skin, burns, lesions and chapped skin.
Good for Skin Types: Dry/Damaged, Mature/Aging
Chemical Analysis: Approximately 9% saturated fat, 20% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), 42% linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), 29% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid)
