- Scent: Balsamic
- Perfumery Note: Top / middle
Action: Analgesic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, liver stimulant, supports bone function.
Benefits, Indications: Arthritis, rheumatism, inflammation, muscular pain, tendonitis, hypertension, cramps. Birch and wintergreen contain an active principal similar to cortisone that is beneficial for bone, muscle and joint discomfort. May be helpful for cystitis, acne, bladder infection, gout, gallstones, edema, eczema, skin diseases, ulcers and urinary tract disorders.
Constituents: Salicylic acid, methyl salicylate, betulene and betulenol
Companion Oils: Wintergreen, basil, cypress, geranium, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, marjoram, peppermint, roman chamomile
Precautions: Do not use if epileptic. Possible skin irritant. Skin test for allergies. Avoid during pregnancy.
