Add 40 drops spiced apple oil, 10 drops bitter Almond and Cinnamon oils to¼ cup Calamus root in a lidded glass jar. Shaking occasionally let the fixative absorb the oils for at least 2 days.

Add this mixture to 2 ½ cups Chamomile flowers, 1 ½ cups red rosebuds, 2 cups whole applemint or Spearmint leaves, 2/3 cup whole Lemon Verbena or Lemon balm leaves, ½ cup Patchouli, 1 cup sassafras root bark, 4 or 5 broken nutmegs and a handful of whole Cinnamon sticks.
