Simple Skin Glow Facial Toner

Inspired by the work of Annie B. Bond http://www.care2.com/

If you want fresh, smooth skin but you’re (rightfully) nervous about chemicals in your beauty products, take heart! This unbelievably inexpensive one-ingredient formula will help your complexion to glow. Annie says she can see the difference in people’s skin overnight when they start to use it.

Just pat some of the juice on your face, avoiding the eye area. Allow it to remain on skin for 10 minutes, if you can, then rinse and apply a Moisturizer.

Rose Geranium Face Spritzer Recipe

Add to spray bottle and use as needed.

Cider Skin Balancing, Stabilizing Rinse Recipe

Moisturizing Rosewater Toner Recipe

Herbal Skin Booster Recipe

  • 4 tablespoons dried dandelion
  • 4 tablespoons chamomile
  • 5 tablespoons rosemary
  • 1 (12-inch) square muslin or cotton

Place herbs in center of fabric. Bunch edges of fabric together. Secure with rubber band or string to form a scrubber. Place in a pot of boiling water. Remove from stove. Steep 10 minutes.

Remove scrubber and save the water as it contains herbal juices. Place scrubber in a glass dish until it cools to room temperature. Leave herbal residue on for 20 minutes; rinse with tepid water.

After-Cleansing pH Balancer

  • 3 c. distilled water
  • 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 5 to 10 drops of your favorite essential oil

Combine water, vinegar and your favorite essential oil. Pour into a clean container. To use: moisten a cotton ball and use after cleansing to restore your skin’s pH.
