Lavender Ointment Recipe for Cuts, Burns, Abrasions

This ointment is terrific for burns, abrasions, cuts and all around skin softening. I always keep some on hand for those minor emergencies or the dry winter months.

Ingredients:

• 4 tablespoons Olive Oil
• 3 to 4 tablespoons Beeswax
• 3 tablespoons Cocoa Butter
• 2 teaspoons lanolin
• 10 drops Vitamin E Oil
• 15 drops Lavender oil

Directions:

Combine the Olive Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter and lanolin and heat thoroughly in the top of a double boiler. Remove from the heat. Add the Vitamin E, Lavender oil and beat well. Pour into little jars and allow the mixture to cool before covering.
